Odama Paulcy is an Abuja- self-taught artist whose creative journey has been as
diverse as her experiences in life. Originally trained as a medical professional, with a degree from the Zaporozhye State Medical University, Ukraine, and five years of practice, she found her way back to her true passion - art. Her transformation from an award-winning doctor to
a talented artist reflects the power of self- discovery and the healing potential of
creative expression.
For the past three years, Odama Paulcy has been fervently honing her skills in painting.
During this time, she has developed a unique artistic voice that is both introspective and
thought-provoking. She creates her artworks in her home studio. In 2020 she started her
artistic journey with watercolour and pencil but finally choose acrylic paint as her preferred medium.
Past exhibitions: "Masquerades" (2023), "Echoes" by the Society of Nigerian Artists (2023),
"For Her Eyes Only" (2024), "Life and Times" (2024), and "Mindscapes" (2024).
